Group Exercise InstructorInstructs group exercise class(es), taking into consideration varying abilities of the clientele while providing continual observation and direction to ensure a safe exercise area. Primary position responsibilities include:Recognizing a safe environment and the safe execution of activities being performed is the priority for all members and guests.Dedication to customer service by promoting a friendly atmosphere and keeping all members engaged.Recognizing good communication and keeping all well-informed is the key to smooth operations.Recognizing consistency in programming and instructor dependability is important for member satisfaction and retention.Qualifications:Minimum education: High School Diploma or EquivalentCertification from accredited agency for Group Exercise InstructionMinimum years of experience: NonePreferred: 1-2 years of prior group exercise instruction experienceLicense, Registry or Certification: Required: CPR/AED certification (or must be completed within 60 days of hire) Certification from accredited agency for Group Exercise InstructionKnowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Required: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
