Job Title: PCU Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Duration: Not specified Shift: Not specified Hours per Shift: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar sized facility with documented PCU experience License: Not specified Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Documented PCU experience - Experience with cardiac population - Familiarity with cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors) Description: The ideal candidate will work in a 28 bed PCU/IMCU unit focusing on cardiac patients. Patient ratios are typically 1:3-4. Experience with STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and critical care is essential. The candidate may also be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit with lower acuity levels. Strong assessment and interpersonal skills are necessary for this role. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required. Team collaboration and excellent communication are crucial for patient care.
