Registered Nurse RN Medical Oncology PCU Nights

Job Description Join AdventHealth Altamonte Oncology/Multisystem PCU unit as a Registered Nurse on a night shift (7:00 pm – 7:00 am, weekend rotation). Full‑time, three 12‑hour shifts. The unit has 36 rooms and focuses on oncology patients. Primary Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary. Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions. Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self‑care strategies to promote understanding and compliance. Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork. Qualifications Associate of Science degree in Nursing. Current State of Florida or Multistate licensure as a Registered Nurse. Minimum of six (6) months of experience as a Registered Nurse. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Schedule & Pay Full‑time, three 12‑hour night shifts. Pay range: $31.53 – $52.24 per hour.
