Senior Accounts Payable (Onsite) Job Description Accounts Payable Management Process and manage a high volume of supplier invoices Review invoices for accuracy, coding, approvals, and supporting documentation. Prepare and process supplier payments in accordance with company policies. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Multi-Entity Cost Allocation Allocate and distribute shared expenses across multiple ledgers and property entities. Ensure accurate coding and posting of transactions within accounting software. Manage invoice splitting and cost recovery across multiple companies. Support intercompany accounting processes related to accounts payable transactions. General Accounting Support Assist with month-end accounts payable close activities. Prepare account reconciliations and investigate outstanding balances. Support monthly financial reporting requirements Support end-of-year audit preparation. Assist the Finance Controller and broader finance team with ad hoc accounting tasks. Gradually take on additional accounting responsibilities as the role develops. Systems & Process Management Utilize Xero and property management software to process and track transactions. Identify opportunities to improve AP processes, controls, and efficiencies. Maintain accurate electronic records and supporting documentation. Compliance & Confidentiality Handle sensitive financial information with the highest level of confidentiality. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls. Adhere to strict data security and privacy requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field. 5+ years of Accounts Payable and/or General Accounting experience. Experience managing AP across multiple entities or group structures. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Experience with Xero is a plus. Experience with Cirrus 8 property management software is a plus. Advanced reconciliation and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
