Emergency Department Registered Nurse


- Shift: 19:00-07:00
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience as an RN
- Unit Information:
- Location: Doctors Regional

- Department: Emergency Dept.
- Number of Beds: 12
- Staffing: 6-8 team members
- Day Shift:
- 5-7 RNs
- 1 ER Tech (11a-11p)
- 1 Unit Secretary (9a-5p M-F)
- Night Shift:
- 5-6 RNs
- 1 ER Tech (11a-11p)
- 1 Unit Secretary (5p-1a M-F)
- Patient Ratios: 4:1
- Equipment: EMR
- Skills Required:
- Must Have:
- BLS
- ACLS
- ENPC or PALS
- CPI
- TNCC
- Preferred/Nice to Have:
- Strong in Neuro and Cardiac
- High energy, fast-paced
- Typical Procedures Performed:
- STEMI
- Stroke/TPA
- RSI
- Dress Code:
- Preferred Scrub Color: Royal Blue (not required)
- No competitor emblems allowed
- Unit Recognition:
- 12-minute door to needle TPA time
- Fastest bed assigned to patient in Gulf Coast Division
