Job Description
We are seeking a Behind the Counter Server to join our team and provide exceptional service to our guests. This role involves taking orders both in-person and over the phone, preparing to-go orders, making coffee, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all patrons at our dining establishment.
Responsibilities
- Take and process customer orders accurately by phone and at the counter
- Prepare to-go orders and make coffee beverages
- Serve food and beverages promptly to guests
- Explain menu items and answer guest inquiries
- Greet guests warmly and ensure a positive customer experience
- Clean and prepare dining and service areas
- Respond to guest requests in a timely manner
- Perform other restaurant duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, food service, or related fields
- Ability to build rapport with guests and ensure customer satisfaction
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
