About the Job:
We are seeking an Estimator to bid and produce accurate, winning bids for new projects. The ideal candidate will have a track record in commercial construction estimating and bring exceptional organizational and communication skills to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Estimate commercial drywall and acoustical ceilings projects.
- Accurately read and interpret architectural, MEP, and shop drawings/plans.
- Prepare detailed takeoffs and budget lists.
- Develop and submit proposals to General Contractors.
- Complete and present comprehensive leveling sheets.
- Collaborate with Project Managers on change order pricing.
- Ensure thorough understanding of all project specifications, plans, exhibits, and RFIs.
- Participate in site walk-throughs in the NYC Tri-state area, Long Island, Westchester, and NJ.
- Source and request quotes from qualified vendors and subcontractors.

Qualifications:
- Experience as a commercial construction Estimator, with a preference for NYC Union Carpentry experience.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in estimating software; experience with Plexxis WinBid is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, manage risk, set priorities, and maintain focus under pressure.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Salary: Competitive and commensurate with industry experience and qualifications.

Travel: Some travel to NYC and surrounding locations required.
