Job Type Full-time Location Category Accounting Job Description Purpose This position contributes to the overall success of the accounting department by performing accounting duties, supporting financial processes, and working collaboratively with team members to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and strong internal controls. Activities + Responsibilities Assists with budgets and project reporting, specifically relating to key performance indicators. Assists with the preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets. Pulls and compiles all information necessary for end of the year tax return. Audits accounts to ensure compliance with internal policies as well as state and federal regulations. Assist in coordinating with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external/internal audits. Performs monthly employee insurance reconciliations. Oversee AP and all payment processing and purchases, ensure all automatic payments are posted. Manages rent payment schedules, as well as company debt schedules. Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned. Preferred Skills/Abilities Excellent management and supervisory skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficient in accounting software. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required. Five years or more of related experience required. Certified Public Accountant designation preferred not required.
