Ecommerce Marketplace Specialist

PeopleShare is hiring an ECommerce Marketplace Specialis t to support marketplace growth, reporting, promotions, and inventory management for leading pet brands. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fastpaced ecommerce environments, understands marketplace operations, and loves digging into data to drive results.
You'll work closely with crossfunctional teams to optimize listings, manage inventory, execute promotions, and support sales-driving initiatives across Amazon, Walmart, and other marketplaces. Location: Neptune City, NJ (Onsite, 5 days/week) Salary: $75,000 Key Responsibilities:- ECommerce Strategy - Support and implement marketplace strategies aligned with business goals.
- Financial & Sales Reporting - Prepare weekly financial statements, sales reports, profitability analyses, and inventory reports.
- Marketplace Management - Track product assortment changes, monitor listings, conduct site walks, and ensure pricing/visibility accuracy.
- Inventory Reconciliation - Prepare and troubleshoot reconciliation reports; manage open cases across marketplaces.
- Promotions & Content - Execute promotional activities, update content calendars, and track POS trends to drive sales.
- Forecasting - Analyze sales data to forecast trends and stock requirements.
- Item Setup - Set up new items, manage inventory levels, and adjust for promotions or market changes.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration - Partner with SEO, Retail Media, and other teams to enhance item visibility and support.
- 3+ years' ecommerce experience, including Amazon Seller Central.
- Strong understanding of Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, and marketplace operations.
- Experience with inventory management, case resolution, and marketplace tools.
- Strong Excel skills - pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reporting, etc.
- Highly organized, detailoriented, proactive, and techsavvy.
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
- Curious, innovative, and passionate about ecommerce.
- Knowledge of the pet industry is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
