Job Description

Oil Burner Service Technician - HVAC | $38.00 to $45.00 + per hour. We pay based on experience and capabilities

Work Hours: Day Shift, 8-hour workday; flexible start time

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, overtime available, and on-call rotation

Job Duties:

Service and maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC equipment
Working with oil burners, propane, natural gas, and electric HVAC systems
Propane and electric heating/air conditioning systems, heat pumps, ductless systems, and boilers
Experience service /maintenance/ troubleshooting / repairing, a wide range of residential and light commercial equipment
Consulting customers on repair, upgrade and replacement options, and educating homeowners products
Contact tech support with diagnostic questions
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
Daily use of tablet

Qualifications:

5+ years of HVAC experience
Massachusetts Oil Burner License
EPA Universal - Desired
Knowledge of air balancing principles and HVAC system performance techniques
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
High school diploma or equivalent
HVAC technical school certification - Desired
Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
