Clinical Consultant- Wound Care

In this role, you'll be the clinical expert and trusted partner in the field, helping drive adoption of innovative wound care solutions:

Build Trusted Relationships Develop and maintain strong partnerships with wound care clinicians, physicians, WOC nurses, case managers, and key decision-makers across your territory

Drive Product Adoption Support product trials, evaluations, and conversions by demonstrating clinical value and improved patient outcomes

Educate and Influence Deliver engaging in-services and hands-on training to clinical teams on wound care products and best practices

Act as a Clinical Expert Provide guidance on wound assessment, treatment planning, and appropriate product selection

Support Sales Growth Partner with the sales team to advance deals and build clinical relationships with clients

Support Formulary & Access Assist in influencing formulary decisions by communicating clinical and economic value

Deliver Exceptional Customer Experience Ensure customers feel supported, confident, and successful with our products

Gather Market Insights Share feedback, competitive intelligence, and customer needs with internal teams

Travel As Needed Engage with customers in hospitals, long-term care facilities, outpatient clinics, and other care settings

Compliance: Ensure all policies, procedures, and practices align with federal and state regulations.

Education & Experience:

Active clinical license (RN, LPN, or related license)

Bachelor's degree in nursing or related healthcare field

5-10 years of wound care or related clinical experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating proficiency in wound management

Demonstrated experience in wound assessment and treatment, including Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT), required

Wound Care Certification (e.g., WOCN, CWS, WCC, CWON) Required

Experience in clinical education, training, or customer support preferred

Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required

Ability to build trust and influence clinical decision-making

Experience in hospital or nursing home management is a plus

Work Environment & Travel

This role will operate in a hybrid environment, including distribution partners, hospitals, long-term care facilities, outpatient clinics, home health agencies, and office settings. You will regularly engage with healthcare providers across multiple care settings, delivering education, support, and clinical expertise.
