Full Stack Developer

Full Stack Developer | Location: Remote | Contract-to-Hire | Hourly Pay Range: $60-$65

We are seeking a seasoned Full Stack Developer to join a dynamic team working on modern web applications within a cloud-based environment. The role involves building scalable, responsive applications using Angular and Spring Boot, with a focus on cloud-native deployment on AWS. This position offers the opportunity to lead projects from requirements through delivery while mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designs and develops web applications using Angular and Spring Boot, ensuring responsiveness and accessibility across devices and browsers.
• Implements features to enhance user experience, optimize site performance, and improve localization, authentication, and SEO.
• Creates sustainable, well-documented code and advises on technical debt reduction strategies.
• Builds reusable code libraries and components for use across multiple applications.
• Optimizes application performance by analyzing code and implementing improvements.
• Writes and maintains unit and integration tests, and participates in designing CI/CD workflows.
• Applies cloud-native patterns to support platform innovation and scalability.
• Develops applications that run on serverless (AWS Lambda) and containerized environments (AWS EKS, Fargate).
• Supports deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities, including off-hours support as needed.
• Leads project initiatives from requirements gathering through delivery, ensuring technical quality and adherence to standards.
• Mentors junior developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack web application development.
• Strong experience with Angular and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with relational databases, especially MySQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Experience with search technologies such as OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and automated testing practices.
• Experience with cloud environments, specifically AWS (Lambda, EKS, Fargate).
• AWS certifications (Developer Associate, Solutions Architect, or equivalent) preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other front-end frameworks like React or Vue.
• Knowledge of security protocols such as OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Prior experience mentoring junior developers.
