Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6–7
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in every other weekend rotation and holiday scheduling as required
• Float within scope to like units or sister facilities to meet staffing needs as directed
• Contribute to emergency response efforts as required, including potential assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license must be in hand prior to start date
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical RN experience
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial submission; time off requests after submission will not be accepted
• Previous permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the facility system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Epic charting system
• Experience as a travel nurse is a plus; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Familiarity with high-acuity Medical Surgical patient populations
