Assistant Superintendent

Overview Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a traveling Assistant Superintendent to join our national industrial sector team. The role requires 3‑5 years of successful project management experience in construction and a passion for working in a fast, inclusive, and collaborative environment. Responsibilities Manage subcontractor performance. Develop and track CPM schedules. Manage overall general construction budgets and safety programs. Comprehend all design documents and review shop drawings. Develop material procurement lists and incorporate them into the master schedule. Establish and monitor QC program. Value-engineer throughout projects. Effectively communicate and coordinate with all project team members. Make sound decisions and seek creative solutions to problems using all available resources. Create raving fans and sell additional work. Travel for projects as needed. Qualifications Minimum 3‑5 years of on‑site construction management experience. Post‑high school education or equivalent in the construction field. Valid driver’s license. Pass pre‑employment drug and alcohol test and subsequent random testing. Supervision skills and ability to mentor subordinates. Scheduling experience using MS Project and/or Primavera. Knowledge of current building codes and familiarity with the local construction market. Spanish language ability is a plus but not required.
