Location: West Columbia, SC
Pay: Competitive Pay (Based on Experience)
Job Summary
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Punch/Bend (Salvagnini) Operator for a full-time opportunity in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC punch and bending equipment to manufacture products according to customer specifications while maintaining quality and production standards.
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 3:00 PM-11:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
-Set up and operate CNC punch and bending machines.
-Load machine programs according to part numbers.
-Load sheet metal using loading carts and automated lift systems.
-Monitor production processes and machine operations.
-Measure and inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
-Remove and organize finished parts for packaging and shipment.
-Perform routine maintenance and cleaning according to maintenance schedules.
-Troubleshoot machine issues and report equipment malfunctions.
-Maintain accurate production records and machine logs.
Qualifications:
-Technical degree preferred (relevant work experience may be considered).
-Experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred.
-SAP experience is a plus.
-Basic math skills are required.
-Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
