Job Summary:

- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients following organizational policies and professional standards.
- Deliver high-quality nursing services for self and team members under your direction.
- Use specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess data and provide age-appropriate care.
- Ensure compliance with all required certifications (EFM, NIHSS, ACLS, BLS, NRP) within specified timelines.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and activities.
- Adhere to facility schedules with no scheduling restrictions; flexibility required.
- Work in a high-volume Labor & Delivery environment, utilizing at least 2+ years of recent experience.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Uphold COVID-19 vaccination requirements per state record (declinations not accepted).
- Participate in ongoing professional development and comply with compliance-check requirements within 48 hours if offered.
- Supervise and direct care provided by other nursing staff as needed.
- Maintain active Maryland RN license (or compact license) and meet all documentation requirements (references, resume, certifications, skills checklist).
- Support patients and their families throughout the care process, demonstrating compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Adhere to organizational policies regarding time-off requests, orientation scheduling, and overtime/holiday pay structure.

Med Ninjas Job ID #4277. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
