Job Summary & Clinical Scope Saint Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ is seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 13-week weekend night shift contract. Operating within the hospital's main CT Department during high-acuity weekend hours, the technologist will independently perform emergency, inpatient, and outpatient computed tomography imaging, ensuring optimal image quality and radiation safety standards. Diagnostic Imaging Execution: Perform advanced routine and emergent CT scans (head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, CTA vascular studies, stroke alerts, and musculoskeletal imaging). Contrast & IV Administration: Assess patient kidney function (eGFR/Creatinine), secure venous access, and safely operate automated power injectors for contrast-enhanced imaging. Emergency & Trauma Response: Provide rapid CT imaging support for Emergency Department trauma, acute stroke codes, and urgent inpatient deteriorations during weekend night coverage. Patient Care & Radiation Protection: Manage patient positioning, verify orders, apply ALARA principles, and accurately document cross-sectional imaging in PACS/RIS systems.
