Production Manager Assistant - Night Shift

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our team as a Production Manager Assistant on our second shift! This position would have the opportunity to transition to Shift Manager as things progress.

Responsibilities:

Extrusion Machine Set Ups
Review of Scrap and Regrind
Quality Control Inspections
Safety Audits
Inventory

Training will entail:

Extruder set ups
Q/C inspections
Packaging
Forklift Certification
Resin and Packaging Inventory Count
Scheduling Work Orders issued to Production
Running Day Shift for 1-2 weeks

Preferred Qualifications:

Business Degree
2-5 years Management Experience
Warehouse Experience
Fork Lift Certified
Leadership Skills
Problem Solving Abilities
Knowledge of the Plastics Industry would be beneficial

Hours, Benefits, and Compensation:

5 PM to 5 AM
Additional hours when needed to fulfill responsibilities
Salary will be experience dependent
Starting Salary $50,000 to $65,000 annually

We work with more than a dozen different types of plastics and are looking to expand our product offering. Our facility is approximately 85,000 Sqr/ft and we have 45 employees.
