Contract | Days | Full-Time | 36 hours per week | 12-hour shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients throughout the assigned shift
• Prescribe and implement nursing care based on the nursing process, consistent with the medical plan of care and informed by patient and family input
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary health care team members to coordinate and deliver patient care across applicable age groups
• Incorporate patient teaching and discharge planning into the overall plan of care
• Delegate appropriate aspects of patient care to other nursing staff in accordance with their clinical competence and legal scope of practice
• Utilize the EPIC electronic health record system for clinical documentation throughout the shift

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS, HS-ACLS, or RQI ACLS) certification required at time of hire
• Demonstrated competency in Dysrhythmia interpretation required
• EPIC experience within the last 12 months required
• Recent Cerner experience required; each work history entry must identify the charting system used

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
