• Position: CT Technologist / Computed Tomography Technologist
• Setting: Hospital Imaging / Radiology Department
• Location: Hyannis, MA
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,340 - $2,510
• Duration: 15 weeks
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Schedule: Every Sunday through Tuesday
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Hours Per Week: 36

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience required; 1 year current CT Tech experience within the last 5 years preferred for eligibility
• Graduate of an AMA-accredited radiography program
• Current ARRT certification required
• Valid Massachusetts Radiation Control license
• CT certification from an accredited program or current ARRT CT registration
• BLS certification required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Strong understanding of radiologic safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography scans according to physician orders and established clinical protocols
• Operate CT control consoles and select appropriate imaging techniques for high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare, position, and assist patients to obtain optimal images while supporting comfort and safety
• Maintain and adjust imaging equipment, including calibration checks as needed
• Review orders, explain procedures, and help patients feel informed and at ease
• Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure accurate documentation and recordkeeping
• Follow radiation protection standards, quality assurance guidelines, and infection control policies
• Assist with contrast media administration when trained and authorized
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during patient care procedures
• Support a professional, ethical, and patient-centered environment at all times
