Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a key member of the rehabilitation team, you will assist licensed physical therapists in delivering comprehensive treatment plans, supporting patient recovery, and enhancing functional outcomes across various populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and orthopedic patients. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through compassionate and effective therapy services.

Contract for a PTA -Start Date ASAP

Location - Glendale, AZ

Schedule - Flexible, but would be looking for 9-7 Mondays and Wednesdays 9-4 Thursday 6-12 Tuesday and 7-5 Friday

Pay - $40

Duties

• Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing individualized care plans tailored to patient needs, including those in inpatient, outpatient, home health, and skilled nursing facility settings.
• Conduct therapeutic interventions such as trigger point therapy, therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to promote mobility and pain relief.
• Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatment accurately, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards and facility protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans that address specific conditions such as orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, or acute care needs.
