Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry/Stepdown

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry/Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: At least 2 years of previous Med Surg and Stepdown experience required. License: Active Iowa license required, Illinois license to be applied for when offered. Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS, ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: - First-time travelers accepted. - Ability to float to the ER; comfort with acute patient populations, including critical drips and gtts required. - Must have EPIC experience. - Ratios can vary from 1:2-3 up to 1:6 depending on patient acuity. - Driver's license required. - Work history/resume required. - Skills checklist must have been completed within one year of the submission date. - License verification required. - One supervisory reference required at the time of submission. - Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility.

Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. Bipap critical care gtts experience is required. This position involves providing care to an acute patient population.
