- Lead fun, engaging, and age-appropriate sports classes elementary-aged children.
- Additional coaching opportunities are available in our preschool programs for those seeking more hours.
- Teach fundamental sports skills while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, and respect.
- Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment using positive reinforcement.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of every participant throughout each class.
- Follow Amazing Athletes' curriculum while bringing your own enthusiasm and personality to every session.
- Build meaningful relationships with students, parents, and school staff while representing the Amazing Athletes brand with professionalism.
Requirements
What We're Looking For- Experience working with children in a sports, coaching, education, childcare, or camp setting.
- A passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping kids build confidence through sports.
- An energetic, positive personality with the ability to engage and motivate children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work at least three weekdays from 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM .
- Additional morning coaching opportunities are available.
- Reliable transportation to travel between program locations.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
Background Check Information: All coaches are required to successfully complete a Department of Children and Families (DCF) background screening as a condition of employment. For more information about the screening requirements, please visit Florida Clearinghouse Information.
