Aerospace Quality Inspector - FAI, GD&T, $1.5K Sign-On

Job Description Quality Inspectors Needed ASAP for Leading Aerospace Company in Portland, CT! We are seeking dedicated Quality Inspectors to join our aerospace company in Portland, CT. As a Quality Inspector, you will be instrumental in upholding our rigorous standards, ensuring every detail meets the highest expectations. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to quality will make a significant impact on our operations. Key Responsibilities Product Approval: Conduct thorough visual and measurement tests to confirm that in‑process and finished products adhere to specifications. Compliance Verification: Review purchase orders, special process certifications, operation sheets, blueprints, and other documentation to ensure complete compliance with all requirements. Dimensional Layout Inspection: Execute complex inspections based on operation sheets and blueprints to verify dimensional accuracy. Documentation: Complete Inspection Method Sheets and ensure special process certifications align with part specifications. First Article Inspection (FAI): Perform 1st piece/FAI inspections, with familiarity in Inspection Xpert/Net‑Inspect being a notable advantage. Aerospace Inspector Skills & Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a quality inspector in Aerospace, Medical, or a similar industry. Technical Proficiency: Strong ability to analyze manufacturing methods and procedures, with a focus on GD&T. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills combined with strong analytical and shop‑math abilities. Software Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with layout tools is a plus.
