Pricing & Rating Analyst - Earnix
Location: Remote (USA)

Visa Type: USC / GC / GC EAD Only
Experience: 8 15 Years Must-Have Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Pricing & Rating / P&C Insurance
- Earnix expertise is mandatory
- Strong understanding of P&C insurance rating principles , insurance products, and rating methodologies
- Hands-on experience with Earnix, Ratabase, and Radar pricing/rating platforms
- Strong Earnix configuration and development experience, including rates and rating inputs
- Experience configuring and integrating Ratabase/Radar/Earnix with Policy Administration Systems (PAS)
- Strong Python programming skills
- Mandatory experience with Python libraries:
- PySpark
- NumPy
- Pandas
- Strong business analysis skills with the ability to translate actuarial specifications into functional specifications
- Strong understanding of pricing and rating within Policy Administration Systems
- Knowledge of end-to-end premium flow across the policy lifecycle
- Experience identifying rating rules and logic from legacy systems
- Strong requirements gathering and user story development skills
- Experience writing JIRA user stories with clear business acceptance criteria
- Experience with JIRA, JWM, or Rally for backlog and work management
- Strong Agile experience and backlog management
- Ability to develop efficient pseudocode for transformation and rating logic
- Strong understanding of pricing components, rating methodologies, and mathematical concepts
- Experience identifying data dependencies, model integration, and downstream impacts
- Experience partnering with:
- Pricing teams
- Underwriting teams
- Predictive Modeling teams
- Integration teams
- Business and IT stakeholders
- Experience documenting code and data conversion processes for requirement-to-code traceability
- Strong communication and coordination skills with onshore/offshore teams
- Experience preparing weekly status reports , risks, impediments, and mitigation plans
- P&C Insurance - Auto Insurance experience strongly preferred
- Experience working directly with Policy Administration Systems
- Legacy rating system analysis and modernization
- Predictive modeling and pricing model integration
- End-to-end insurance product lifecycle knowledge
- Strong experience with Agile ceremonies and cross-functional delivery
- Experience coordinating with customers and offshore development teams
- Advanced insurance pricing/rating configuration and troubleshooting
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
