About the Position

Job Title: PTA Home Health Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PTA Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience preferred, with Home Health experience preferred. License: South Carolina PTA license required prior to starting, pending state license accepted. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: Must have Home Health experience. All requested time off (RTO) must be included in the initial submission. Description: Seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for Home Health. The position requires Home Health experience, although all PTA experience will be considered. Shift availability is Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must possess a valid BLS certification. The job requires experience with charting systems. The daily patient census is expected to be around 6 patients, with 6 visits per day. An attendance policy is in place; if more than two shifts are missed without reasonable explanation, the contract may be reviewed for cancellation. Recent experience with EPIC is preferred but not required. Candidates will take a Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test and a Moderate Sedation Test on the first day oriented. Successful passage of these tests is required to continue employment. Compliance documents must be submitted prior to the start date. The candidate must be willing to travel within a 75-mile radius.
