About the Role As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating residents with communication and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each resident. With a strong focus on quality care, the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will also participate in facility-wide initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction. Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of residents with speech-language and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address resident needs and goals Provide speech-language therapy services to residents, including individual and group sessions Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet resident needs Participate in facility-wide quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Requirements Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program Clinical fellowship (CF) completed or pending Active Missouri licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team Strong communication and interpersonal skills What We Offer Join a dynamic and dedicated team of healthcare professionals at Aspire Senior Living Pleasant Hill.
