To define the technical architecture for a large-scale robotics platform, the full-time Robotics and AI Architect will establish reference architectures, APIs, and integration patterns while working across robotics software, cloud services, and AI systems in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Define long-term architecture and technical strategy for robotics and physical AI software platforms Design scalable platform architectures that support autonomous robot fleets and enterprise integrations Establish secure communication architectures and interoperability patterns for heterogeneous robotics platforms Required qualifications BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field 15+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in architecting distributed systems Deep expertise in cloud-native software architecture and distributed platform design Strong programming background in C++, Go, Java, Python, or similar languages Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and modern cloud platforms Virtual Vocations Inc
