The Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership at Wilkes University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Sports Management position beginning in August 2027. The position is housed in the Department of Marketing and Sports Management within the College of Business and Engineering. The Sidhu School is accredited by AACSB International.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Sports Management or a closely related field. ABD candidates will be considered, but the Ph.D. must be completed by the time of appointment. Prior teaching experience in Sports Management, evidence of scholarly activity, and a demonstrated commitment to student mentorship are preferred.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in areas such as sports analytics, sports finance, sports psychology, sports law, and other sports-related subjects as needed. Additional responsibilities include maintaining an active scholarly agenda, providing service to the department, school, university, profession, and community, advising and mentoring undergraduate students in the Sports Management program, and supervising internships, field experiences, and related student research.
