Serving as a technical authority for Section 508 accessibility testing, the full-time remote Trusted Tester - Level II (Web Tester & Document Remediation) will perform web accessibility evaluations, document remediation, and provide guidance on accessibility compliance for federal clients. Key responsibilities Conduct standardized web accessibility evaluations and hands-on remediation of electronic documents using the DHS Trusted Tester process Evaluate Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs) and Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPATs), and develop accessibility test plans Advise project teams on remediating complex Section 508 defects and provide technical guidance for accessibility training and certification Required qualifications Active DHS Trusted Tester Version 5.0 (or later) Certification Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution 4+ years of experience in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) environments 2+ years of web accessibility testing experience using the DHS Trusted Tester process 2+ years of experience testing and remediating electronic documents to Section 508 standards
