CNC Machinist Opportunities on 1 st and 2nd Shift
A local machining company with a facility in the Romeo, MI area, is currently looking to hire experienced CNC Machinists for Long-Term opportunities with their growing company. These are excellent opportunities for those looking to work for a company that offers great benefits, stable employment and a great environment.
The CNC Machinist hourly rates are anticipated to start between $20 to $30 per hour based on each candidates experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours. We offer excellent benefits including great medical, dental, 401k, and more.
Qualified CNC Operators will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:
- 3+ years of RECENT CNC lathe or mill experience
- MUST be able to perform set up, offsets, tool changes and edits
- Experience in Aerospace or Defense prototype machining
- MUST have own tools
- Working with tight tolerances
- Must be able to perform quality checks and tool changes
- Able to read blueprints, understand GD&T, and shop math
- Perform part inspections with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Able to pass standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, etc.
