In the Systems Engineer role, you’ll provide expertise in migrating hardware-based systems to cloud environments, automation, and infrastructure as code. Join our team, working within our Technology Strategy and Enterprise Architecture organization.Responsibilities & QualificationsIn this role you will:Use VMWare experience to manage and deploy current on-premise virtual machinesApply in-depth knowledge of Windows Server OS, Linux, AD, and DNS to help manage daily infrastructure operationsApply knowledge of change management and incident management to daily workloadApply knowledge of Load Balancing technologiesApply knowledge of Web Services technologiesDesign and manage systems with Cloud Enablement teams to create a future state for infrastructure to modernize ITUse advanced experience with scripting languages and tools to provide automation and simplification of infrastructure environmentCreate documentation and develop standards for multiple environments to organize training peersParticipate in the On-Call rotationRequired qualifications:At least 7 years of related experience or equivalent education, training, or experienceBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education, training, or experiencePreferred qualifications:Experience with VMWare or equivalent technologiesExperience on virtual machine creation and optimizationsAdvanced experience with Windows and RedHat Ent. Linux OSExperience with F5 LTM and GTMExperience with automation/orchestration tools like Ansible and Terraform to expedite deployment and system configuration as well as the ability to create automated pipelines in Azure DevOpsAdvanced experience with multiple scripting languages (Powershell, Python, etc…) as well as the ability to utilize source control best practicesAdvanced experience deploying and supporting Windows/AD/DNS with focus in a hybrid environment and multiple domain trustsExperience using Agile methodologies in an infrastructure environmentKnowledge of Atlassian products Jira and ConfluenceKnowledge of MFA and Authentication systemsTexas Mutual Pay TransparencyThe base pay range is based on the market evaluation of the job and may include pay for multiple levels. Individual base pay within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including experience, performance, education, and demonstration of skills and competencies required for each role. Your recruiter can discuss the full value of our total compensation package with you, including our generous bonus plans and flex-hybrid work model.Base Pay Range: $136,408.00 - $168,504.00 Per YearFlex-Hybrid Work Environment:Texas Mutual’s flex-hybrid schedule allows you to bring your best self to work by working remotely and collaborating in the office based on business needs.
