Senior Technical Writer

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Technical Writer will ensure the efficient execution of MOUs, MOAs, vendor contracts, and other agreements for the NC Health Information Exchange Authority while collaborating with various teams to maintain organized documentation. Key responsibilities: Organize and manage the process for executing agreements such as MOUs and vendor contracts Draft and coordinate agreements with NC HIEA business leads and partners, ensuring compliance with legal and financial requirements Develop and maintain a repository of NC HIEA agreements and related documentation, aligning programs and services with these agreements Required qualifications: 7 years of experience drafting and executing MOUs, MOAs, vendor contracts, and other agreements 5 years of familiarity with legal, privacy, security, finance, and procurement processes, preferably in the health IT sector 5 years of extensive experience maintaining organized document repositories in SharePoint 5 years of familiarity with health IT programs and services related to interoperability and health information exchange 3 years of familiarity with the administration of Medicaid Advance Planning Documents and federal funding processes
