Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN requiring electrophysiology experience and a TX or compact RN license for a 13-week day-shift assignment.

Details

• Work in the Cardio-Cath Lab unit of a hospital setting
• Monday through Friday day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call required every other week, 7 days on, starting and ending Friday at 7 AM
• No floating required
• No block scheduling and no 48-hour scheduling option
• 1:1 patient ratio with a 2-bed unit
• EMR transitioning from MEDHOST to Cerner
• Scrubs provided by facility

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact)
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Critical care and Cath Lab experience required
• Electrophysiology experience required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include circulating cases, administering medications, assessing and monitoring patients, assisting with moderate sedation, and supporting procedures
• Holiday coverage required
• Maximum RTO of 3 days, with requests needing to be less than 1 week
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local travelers accepted
• Previous CHS permanent staff are not eligible if employed within the last 2 years
