Operating Room Nurse

Job Title: Travel RN – OR Circulator/Scrub Location: Key West, FL Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Flexible between day and mid shifts Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room (OR) Circulator/Scrub Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Key West, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multispecialty surgical procedures, with a particular focus on Orthopedics and C-Sections. This role requires the ability to function proficiently in both circulating and scrubbing capacities, ensuring optimal patient care throughout the perioperative process. Responsibilities Perform both circulating and scrub nurse duties as needed in the operating room. Assist in preparing the operating room, ensuring sterile technique and proper equipment setup. Monitor and support patients throughout the surgical procedure. Collaborate with the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure patient safety and procedure efficiency. Maintain accurate documentation of intraoperative care and adhere to hospital policies and protocols. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in a multispecialty operating room or as a travel nurse. Strong expertise in Orthopedic and C-Section procedures. Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS. Must be proficient in both circulating and scrubbing roles.
