Job Title: Operations & Customer Service Associate (Part-Time) Location: Orland Park, IL (Chicago Phones Wholesale — in-person) Type: Part-time About the Role Chicago Phones Wholesale (CPW) is looking for a versatile, detail-oriented team member to support both our warehouse operations and office/customer-facing functions. This role blends hands-on device testing and sorting with administrative responsibilities like shipment tracking, billing coordination, and customer service — ideal for someone who's comfortable switching between physical inventory work and desk-based tasks throughout the day. Key Responsibilities Device Testing & Sorting Test each device for functionality (screen, camera, buttons, charging, battery health, connectivity) Grade and sort units by condition Scan and verify IMEIs against manifests/ASNs Flag defective or mismatched units for review Physically organize inventory by model, storage, color, and grade Monitor inbound and outbound shipments across carriers (FedEx, DHL, UPS) Proactively flag delays and maintain a live shipment status log Track carrier costs and flag rate anomalies or billing discrepancies Assist with tracking payment due dates, invoice timing, and follow-ups Support reconciliation of vendor and customer statements Customer Service Respond to buyer inquiries regarding order status, tracking, and general questions Assist with RMA/dispute communications and mediator claims Maintain a professional, responsive tone across email, text, and WhatsApp channels General Office Support Light data entry and Excel work (bid sheets, stock lists, invoices) Filing and organizing shipping/customs documentation Ad hoc administrative support for the COO Qualifications Comfortable with both hands-on physical work and desk/computer-based tasks Strong attention to detail — this role touches inventory accuracy, shipment tracking, and billing Good written communication for customer-facing correspondence Basic Excel skills; comfortable learning shipping/customs terminology (IMEI, ASN, tracking systems) Reliable, punctual, and able to self-manage priorities across different types of tasks Prior experience in electronics/device handling, logistics, or customer service a plus — training provided Schedule Part-time, flexible hours Why This Role Matters You'll be a key point of contact both in the warehouse and with our customers — helping keep inventory accurate, shipments on track, and buyers confident in CPW's reliability. #J-18808-Ljbffr Chicago Phones Wholesale LLC
