Network and Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Engineer to support and maintain critical network infrastructure and systems across multiple environments. Key Responsibilities: Network Design & Support: Implement, manage, and maintain enterprise-level networking solutions, including routers, switches, wireless access points (WAPs), and security appliances. Troubleshoot and support network-attached devices and systems, ensuring high performance and reliability. System Integration & Security: Manage various devices and systems integrated into the network, ensuring secure access and proper segmentation. Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access. Physical Infrastructure Management: Oversee the installation and maintenance of physical network infrastructure, including cabling and fiber optic backbones. Coordinate with external service providers for network setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Server & Cloud Integration: Administer server environments and cloud services to ensure efficient system operations. Support key configurations like DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory, as well as cloud-based solutions. Communication Systems: Manage and optimize communication systems to ensure operational efficiency and reliability across the organization. Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues in a timely manner. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain up-to-date system documentation and diagrams. Ensure adherence to internal and external compliance standards, including security policies and industry regulations. Required Qualifications & Skills: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in network and systems engineering. Strong expertise in enterprise-level networking technologies, including routers, switches, wireless solutions, and security appliances. Experience in server administration, user management, system updates, backups, and security configurations. Familiarity with VPN technologies and site-to-site configurations. Hands-on experience with physical network infrastructure, including cabling, fiber optics, and equipment installation. Knowledge of network security best practices, firewalls, intrusion prevention, and endpoint protection. Proficiency in VoIP and communication system management. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Preferred Certifications: Relevant certifications in network engineering and systems administration (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA, or similar).
