Travel CVOR Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,059 per week

TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Houston, Texas. Job Details Cardiovascular Operating Room – CVOR RN – Travel Nurse Specialty: CVOR Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 per week Shift: 10 hours per day Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Assess, plan and evaluate nursing care needs before, during and after a surgical procedure. Participate in the care of patients receiving conscious sedation. Administer prescribed medications, apply dressings, monitor vital signs. Assist the physician during procedures. Maintain aseptic techniques and actively monitor situations that could lead to breaches in aseptic technique. Coordinate the operating room in terms of sterility, cleanliness, and availability of functioning equipment and supplies. Ensure proper handling of specimens. Qualifications 1–2 years of recent acute care experience. ACLS and BLS certifications with at least 1 year of validity. Additional certifications may be required before the assignment. Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds. Strong stress‑coping skills and ability to work with people of all ages and backgrounds.
