Interventional Cardiologist Job in Kentucky – Flexible Block Schedule

Be part of a nationally recognized cardiovascular program featuring an ACC-accredited Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

• Schedule: Full-time equivalent (182.5 days/year) with a structured 7 on/7 off block schedule giving you predictable time on and true time off
• Team: Work closely with APPs, PCPs, Hospitalists
• Contract Length: 1-3 years

Clinical Responsibilities

• Outpatient cardiology clinic
• Lipid and hypertension management
• 24/7 call during block schedule
• Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR)
• Instantaneous wave-free ratio (iFR)
• IVUS
• Nuclear cardiology studies
• Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
• Supervise or interpret stress testing

Procedures

• Cardioversion
• IABP
• Temporary Pacemakers
• Pacemaker Implants (preferred but not required)
• Peripheral Intervention
• Thrombectomy (preferred but not required)

Requirements

• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular Disease
• IMLC State – Licensure facilitation provided
• 50 PCIs in the last 12 months
• 150+ diagnostic right and/or left cardiac catheterizations in the last 24 months
