Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

ER RN Emergency Department

Schedule: Nights, 3x12s Every other weekend; every other holiday required

Assignment Details: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years RN experience
• Active state RN or compact license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required
• EPIC experience required
• Preferred: TNCC, ASLS certifications
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Experience with ventilator care, arterial/central line management, IV/vasopressors, blood product administration, dysrhythmia interpretation/ECG, triage, procedural sedation monitoring

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients from neonates to geriatrics.
• Assess and triage patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage trauma and orthopedic/neurosurgery cases.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 12 hours, includes non-billable modules
• Attendance policy: More than one call-off will result in termination
• RTO: Max 10 days per contract; no RTO during initial weeks
