Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN with 5+ years of experience and an active MA RN license for a 13-week contract at a high-volume cardiac catheterization lab.

Details

• Work in a Cath Lab with 7 procedure rooms and a hybrid OR, all upgraded within the last 1-5 years
• 12-bay peri-procedural space used for patient prep and recovery
• Averages over 30 cases per day, ranging from outpatient RHC and stable coronary angiograms to complex coronary, structural, and vascular interventions
• Uses Epic for primary charting and Siemens Sensis system for hemodynamic measurements
• Supports either 3x12-hour or 4x10-hour shift schedules
• Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call possible, though no weekend or holiday shifts are worked
• Typical contract includes 1-2 weeknight call shifts total and possibly one weekend call (not guaranteed)

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required, no conditional or pending licenses accepted
• Both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA only)
• 5+ years of nursing experience required
• 2+ years of ICU experience preferred
• 1+ years of experience as a Cath Lab RN preferred
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Serve as a key member of the patient care team, collaborating with other clinicians to ensure continuity of care
• Promote a patient/family-focused approach to care in all interactions
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred but not required
• Local candidates permitted if permanent residence is within 60 miles of the facility, with a reduced pay rate
• Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
