Job Title Maintenance Technician I (Night Shift 7 PM - 7 AM) Location Greenwood, South Carolina, USA Join Lonza as a Maintenance Technician I and play a key role in ensuring the reliable performance of advanced manufacturing equipment. What you will do: Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of Hard Capsule Machines (HCMs) to ensure optimal performance and product quality. Inspect, replace, and rebuild machine components while maintaining equipment to strict operational standards. Execute preventive maintenance activities, including bar changes, verifications, and quality checks. Analyze trends in machine performance and proactively address issues to support continuous improvement. Collaborate with maintenance leads, coordinators, and cross-functional teams to achieve production goals. Maintain compliance with cGMP, safety, and cleanliness standards within the manufacturing environment. Support departmental objectives by completing mechanical and basic electrical tasks, including breakdown and predictive maintenance. What we are looking for: High School Diploma required; a 2-year technical degree is preferred. Experience in manufacturing maintenance, mechanical, or technical roles. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform mechanical repairs and basic electrical work. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Positive attitude with a professional and proactive approach to work. Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. required to work the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
