Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled healthcare professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D) to join our team for a night shift position. The successful candidate will exhibit flexibility in scheduling and demonstrate proficiency in various essential procedures related to maternal and neonatal care.

Shift Details

Shift Type: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)
Start Date: 9/21 or 10/5
Length: 18 Weeks

Key Responsibilities

Administer Magnesium Drips and manage related therapies.
Perform Cesarean Sections and assist in high-risk deliveries.
Provide postpartum care and may float to the Post-Partum unit when needed.
Manage care for patients in antepartum, intrapartum, and immediate postpartum periods.
Ensure adherence to all hospital protocols and procedures.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
Charting System: Proficiency with EPIC is required.
Certifications:
- ACLS
- AWHONN Advanced*
- AWHONN Intermediate*
- BLS
- FHM*
Skills:
- Experience with administration of blood & blood products.
- Proficient in neonatal resuscitation and care of high-risk pregnancies.
- Capable of performing various obstetric procedures and assessments.

Unit Information

The facility houses a 28-bed unit comprising areas for obstetrical emergencies, labor, delivery, antepartum, operating room, and PACU. We maintain a delivery volume of 300-350 per month and cater to various high-acuity patient needs.

Patient Care Details

Patient Population: Neonates and adults
Daily Census: Varies based on unit needs
Staffing: Collaborative support from various health services including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and Respiratory Services.
