Billing Analyst I
Virtual Vocations Inc
Monitoring billing operations for ambulatory pharmacy accounts, the full-time Billing Analyst I will ensure accurate charge documentation, reconcile discrepancies, and assist in resolving charge disputes in a hybrid work environment. Key responsibilities Ensure all ambulatory and specialty third-party charges are paid and identify reimbursement losses Audit charts to verify charge documentation and recommend workflow changes to reduce charge capture issues Interface with Nursing, Vendors, and Supply Chain to reconcile discrepancies in charge and procedural documentation Required qualifications Bachelor's degree 1-3 years' experience with pharmacy or hospital billing operations Proven knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding systems; certification required within twelve months of hire Successful completion of a medical terminology class Familiarity with large healthcare information systems such as IDX, OACIS, EPIC, and/or Last Word preferred
