Contract (Travel) | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | Approximately 10 Weeks | Projected Start: August 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the circulating RN in an active operating room environment supporting a variety of surgical specialties including Endoscopy, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, ENT, Urology, and Ophthalmology
• Work a schedule of four nine-hour days, Monday through Friday, with shift hours of approximately 6:45 AM to 4:15 PM; schedule is not fixed day-to-day
• Provide on-call coverage on a rotating basis, including weekend call from Friday at 4:15 PM through Monday morning at 6:45 AM, and rotating holiday call
• Remain available to work late approximately every three to four Fridays to complete end-of-day cases
• Operate and work alongside equipment including Stryker, Storz, and Steris systems within a 3-OR and 2-procedure-room unit
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Maine or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience as a circulating RN
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Ability to fulfill call responsibilities including rotating weekend and holiday call coverage
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub technician experience is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties including orthopedics, gynecology, ENT, urology, and ophthalmology
