Position Details Position Type: Support Staff / Student Monitor Date Posted: 5/12/2026 Location: Gilles-Sweet Elementary School Date Available: Immediately The Fairview Park City Schools has an opening for a Monitor at Gilles-Sweet Elementary School. The position is 2.75 hours per day, 186 days per school year (student days). Qualifications Educational Student Monitor Permit High School Diploma Friendly and polite demeanor Ability to work well with staff, students, and parents as a member of the team Evidence of exceptional attendance and work record Evidence of strong disciplinary strategies for working with students General Duties Collaborate, monitor, and report student progress of task completion Provide general network of assistance to students Communicate to staff on status and needs of students Monitor and promote appropriate student behavior in all areas including hallways and work areas Maintain accurate written student records including discipline Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by building administrator Rate of Pay Pay scale starts at $15.97 per hour plus benefits (proper placement per the negotiated agreement).
