Last Energy develops, finances, owns, and operates projects, selling reliable 24/7 power through long-term power purchase agreements. The company is advancing projects in the United States and United Kingdom for data centers, industrial facilities, and other energy-intensive customers.

Our organizational structure allows for "Swiss-Army knife contributors" who have the ability to fulfill various roles depending on the project type, their interest, expertise, and availability.

These functional divisions include:

• Project owner
• Subject matter expert / advisor
• Individual contributor / design engineer
• Research analyst
• External relationship manager

The role of Project Engineer is ideal for a mid-career candidate who may be interested in some project management or have some outward facing responsibilities but still stay involved in design engineering and may be feeling pigeon-holed or up against a ceiling at their current role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a dynamic environment
• In the Austin, TX area or willing to relocate
