Shipping Clerk

Our client, an industry leader in agricultural solutions, is seeking a Shipping Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be part of the Shipping Department supporting the logistics and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Ames, IA

What's the Job?

• Efficiently gather materials necessary to fulfill sales orders as directed by supervisor and/or electronic work orders.

• Receive, inspect, and test finished products to ensure quality standards are met.

• Perform repetitive precision work within set limits, tolerances, or standards.

• Conduct regular cycle counts and other inventory control tasks to maintain accurate stock levels.

• Operate equipment such as forklifts and restock KanBan items as needed.

What's Needed?

• Prior shipping or warehouse experience.

• Experience with warehouse management software.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 70 pounds occasionally and 35 pounds regularly.
