School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

We are currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive screening, evaluation, and therapeutic intervention for students exhibiting communication disorders for the upcoming school year. This full-time position involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and consulting with families and educators to bridge the gap between language development and literacy.

• Accepting referrals for children suspected of or exhibiting communication disorders and ensuring they are entered into the process per program procedures.
• Conducting individual or team-based evaluations and generating comprehensive evaluation reports (ER).
• Developing, reviewing, and revising IEPs in coordination with parents, teachers, and specialized personnel.
• Providing appropriate levels of intervention, including individual, group, classroom-based, or community-based services.
• Consulting with parents and school staff on managing communication disorders and the connection between language development and literacy.
• Assisting in developing, organizing, and conducting training or curriculum components related to communication and literacy, as well as participating in relevant grant projects.

• Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required, Master's Degree preferred.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP) required; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be accepted and provided with supervision.
• Proven experience evaluating students with special needs or developmental delays, as well as developing and implementing educational programs.
