The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring a smooth, positive and patient focused environment by working positively and supportively with all departments, providing timely, thorough, and accurate organizational information. The Medical Office Manager will perform their job duties in a professional manner while assuring that all the needs of the staff and patients are met – with a pleasant demeanor.QualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Requires AA degree in Business Administration or Medical Office Administration or related field with a minimum of 4 (four) years of work experience is required. Other combinations of higher education and extended work experience may substitute for the degree when it demonstrates the ability to fulfill the requirements of the positionHIPAA and Privacy training, Basic Life Support Certificate within 90 days of employmentBlood borne pathogen training annuallyAbility to understand, speak, communicate and read the English languageStrong organizational and time management abilitiesAbility to utilize RPMS and EHR proficientlyRequires ability to utilize a multi-line telephone with good telephone etiquetteProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentialityWell-developed human relation skills to convey technical concepts to others, to deal with sensitive and confidential information, to give instructions and training, and to facilitate training and discussions in individual and group settingsAbility to communicate technical information and to interact with a wide variety of groups and individuals inside and outside the organizationAbility to plan, organize, and prioritize work processes in a high-volume environment in order to meet deadlines and to comply with goals and objectivesAbility to analyze data from multiple information ports by comparing and contrasting data to draw a conclusion or to identify trendsAbility to communicate professionally in written, verbal, and non-verbal format while portraying a friendly tone, word choice, and body languageValid Washington State Driver's License is required and be insurableNote: Pursuant to Tribal Policy, if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre-employment drug testing.
